The Philosophy of Living Nature

The Philosophy of Living Nature is an English translation of a revised version of Kratochvíl's Philosophy of Living Nature (1994), a now classic work dealing with the natural world and the possibilities of its knowledge. From the philosophical notion of nature/naturalness, he progresses through the individual natures to the themes of cosmos, space and time, evolution and living organisms to the question of man's place in nature and his representation of nature.
