The Music Merchant

An unforgettable story of love, hope and music

Frank rents a shop in a backstreet in England and starts selling what he loves most - records. Recordings of all genres, lengths and quality fill the empty store. For everyone who walks in, Frank picks the right plate. Regardless of taste, mood or age, everyone will find what they need. No magic. All you have to do is listen.
Life flows peacefully on the wave of music and everyday life together with the other inhabitants of this alley. But although Frank has the gift of empathy and a sense of what others need, he himself remains a bachelor.
One day a girl faints outside the shop. Frank and his friends take her in, but as soon as she gets better, she disappears. Everybody's asking:
"Who is this girl: "
"Why does he have a green cloak? "
"Is she a doctor? "
"What about her German accent? "

But Frank can't hear. he fell in love. The girl returns and slowly a connection is made between them. Love? Does it have a chance of success?

They wrote about the book The Music Shop

„A mysterious looking work that has a sincere message on its cover: An unforgettable story of love, hope and music. I definitely agree with that and although it doesn't seem like it at first, the book is strongly emotional. „

"Rachel Joyce is great at portraying humanity, and The Music Merchant is no exception. It's a joyful love song, full of hope, kindness and laughter."

? "A story that tells much more about the silence between words than the words themselves - the gaps between people can be filled with mystery, confusion and misunderstanding, but also with hope."
