The audiobook by Josef Prokes, a sought-after priest, spiritual companion, scout and mountaineer, leads to a new perspective on faith
Josef Prokes (*1980), a sought-after priest of the České Budějovice diocese, spiritual accompaniment, scout and mountaineer, deals with a number of serious Christian themes in his first book, which he approaches with openness, honesty and authenticity, yet with a thorough education and spiritual experience. It opens up space for deeper reflection, but also for the joy that is born of true faith. Like a red thread running through the book are quotations from the exhortation Evangelii gaudium, which anchor Prokes' reflections in the direction set by the pontificate of Pope Francis.
The author is one of the few people in the Czech environment who openly think about how to renovate the functioning of aging and inadequate church structures.
