The Life and Times of a Crook

Sale to persons under 18 years of age and their parents is prohibited. This is the story of a guy who, although born into a respectable Catholic family, was also born to be a vessel for the feeling of freedom. Before he even went through puberty, both he and those around him began to understand that this wasn't going to be a gentle ride on a fairground pony. More like a wild escape from a cage, but one that can also land you in the slammer (his word for prison). At fifteen, in pursuit of freedom, he started black marketeering and earning his first socialist vouchers, which he used to buy a Saab complete with a driver. At seventeen, he did his first stint in prison in Poland for attempting to illegally leave the country. After that, he was flying high towards the stars.
