The Late Crew

They're late for class — and right on time to save the world.
Tyler already has enough on his plate, caring for his mum with chronic fatigue and his autistic little brother, Levi. But when a mysterious crash shatters Morfield Secondary, Tyler and three classmates, dubbed The Late Crew, stumble upon a stranded alien, a deadly creature called The Slime, and an unhatched egg holding more power than they could imagine.
As their headteacher falls under alien control and Levi is kidnapped, The Late Crew must band together to rescue him, protect the alien egg, and stop an invasion that starts right in their school gym.
Fast-paced, heartfelt, and full of humour and heroism, The Late Crew is a thrilling sci-fi adventure about courage, friendship, and the quiet strength of young carers who discover that true heroes can come from the unlikeliest places. Perfect for fans of UK adventure authors like Frank Cottrell-Boyce, Maz Evans, and Ross Welford.
