The Last of Us

A woman is found hanged in the garden of a house in the Lake District. Police constable Morgan Brookes is the first to arrive at the scene. It seems the victim's husband and their two daughters have disappeared. By the time Morgan finds them in the cellar, it's almost too late – but one of the girls is still alive. From that moment on, Morgan becomes completely absorbed by the case. The trail initially leads nowhere, but then a connection to a cold case emerges.
