The home wizard and the Magic of the hearth

When Finlay Ashowan starts working in the kitchens of the King and Queen of Daxaria, no one can quite see through him. Which suits him perfectly. He's content to work as the royal cook, shooing curious onlookers out of his kitchen and preparing truly delicious meals.

But Fin has a secret, and it's about to be revealed…

As his past begins to catch up with him, Fin must navigate court politics and, together with his animal companion, a fluffy black cat named Kraken, stay as far away from trouble as possible.

However, things get even more complicated when he catches the eye of a certain lady, who also happens to be a member of the royal court.

Can Fin successfully hide his secret while also protecting his heart? Or will the chaos of the castle and its kind-hearted residents become too much for him to handle?
