The Hidden Ultimatum
The fragile peace between two completely different civilizations was in danger.
Alien soldier Kchrat and an elite group of human officers who are to begin special training with him are moving onto a spaceship. It is supposed to take them to the border between the space territory of humans and Shatchrans, where the first interracial base should be established.
After the turbulent events on the Ethernal and Diamond, everything could finally be going perfectly, but a stowaway shouldn' t be allowed on board. Moreover, he has in his possession records that no Shatchran soldier should ever see.
What is behind the first contact with people? And does the Shatchran queen even know about this?

The book easily withstands international comparison. It' s great that a sci-fi series of similar quality is being created in the Czech Republic, and it' s even better to be there from the very beginning.
— Strength
The characters and relationships between people and Shatchrans seem so authentic that it' s scary.
— Children of the night
Kchrat is a return to the roots of adventure science fiction in the best traditions of the genre's golden age. Marie Domská plays out a spectacular interstellar saga, but it is skillfully anchored in a very personal and human story.
— Jan Kotouč, author of the Central Empire series
In the Kchrat cycle and its first part, Unclear Borders, Marie Domská sets out to explore not only deep space, unknown civilizations and their different cultures. Like the best authors, science fiction ruthlessly exposes the essence of humanity and shows the uncertainties that plague a person when encountering the unknown.
