The Girl in the Fog

In the early hours of the morning, Captain Dávid Meizner is called to a crime scene. A victim has been found in a chalet area near Košice. She was brutally beaten, raped, and strangled. The clues lead Dávid and his colleague Ema to a small village at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, where the young woman was born. Why did the victim leave for the capital city years ago, and what made her return to eastern Slovakia? To uncover the perpetrator's identity, the investigators must unravel a web of secrets hidden in the past. However, the hunt for the killer is complicated not only by a new superior but also by Dávid's own personality. He is a distinctive detective, grumpy and unpleasant, a perpetual womaniser who isn't particularly fond of people. Well, with one exception.
