The Ghosts of the Folcroft Family
Tara and Kyle uncover the dark secret of the old house
When their mother ends up in the hospital in a coma after a car crash, Tara and her brother Kyle go to live with their grandparents, whom they have never seen before. May and Peter Folcroft initially seem warm and charming, and their large house, tucked away in the mountains on the edge of the forest, has an idyllic feel. But then strange things start happening.
The swing moves by itself. Peter walks around the house late at night. Doors slam and curtains move even when no one is in the room. Tara gets the feeling that the old house might be haunted. After the storm disrupts the phone lines, May starts acting suspiciously as well. The siblings try to pretend they are a happy family with their grandparents, but a seemingly empty diary along with one locked room reveal clues to unforgivable lies, secrets and decades-old murders. And the spirits are getting restless.
