The futile pleas of the dead

The corpse of a brutally tortured woman. And a series of murders that happened 30 years ago.
Originally, former policewoman Anna Steinbach wanted to enjoy a few days off and a rural idyll, but she stumbled upon the corpse of a brutally tortured woman. Together with his colleague, the priest Pavel Wagner, they start an investigation. Why were the victim's hands tied as if he were praying? And is there any connection to the 30-year-old string of murders?
Before Anna and Pavel find the answers to these questions, another murdered woman is found. The race against time begins.
Will our pair finish off the serial killer? And what about the relationship between them?
