I WANTED TO WIN THE PRINCE'S HEART... AND I ENDED UP WITH THE KING.
In my desire to sit on the throne of Lightland, I revived the ancient winged ruler - and considered him a friend until he tricked and imprisoned me.
While Lorcan claims to be holding me captive for my own safety, he obviously considers me his property. He seems to be delirious from his five hundred years of sleep.
We may be bound together by that damned thought bond, but we are each masters of our own destiny - and I intend to lead mine far from the Kingdom of Heaven and the prophecies that abound in that place... and especially far from it.
