The end of the snake

The vice-principal of the high school is over forty, has a son and a husband whom she takes very good care of, and seems to be quite at peace with her life. But events take an unexpected turn when her life mate finds another woman, leaves home and her son completely distances himself from his parents' problems. Our heroine is left alone, knowing that she has to start all over again and in a completely different way. In order to get rid of her pain, she starts dating all sorts of men, but she has much more demands on them than on her ex-husband. She seems to be too hard on them at times. Or perhaps even cruel?
