The Dune Winds

The second installment of the Heroes of Dune series!

The story begins where Frank Herbert left off in Saviors of Dune. Jessica, the mother of Emperor Paul Atreides, returns to the desert planet of Dune to attend her son' s funeral. After Paul' s suicide, Paul' s mentally ill and brutal sister Alia became regent for his children. She tries to maintain power together with Duncan. But Paul' s friend Bronso of Ix opposes the Atreides family.
In this sequel to Heroes of Dune, the authors focus on the fates of these characters and the growing tension between Jessica and her daughter Alia.
