It is very difficult to exhaustively describe such a vast and complicated topic as the development of resilience. PhDr. Iva Šolcová, Ph. D., has successfully attempted to do so and in her text points out the most important issues currently being addressed in this area. It provides the reader with clues to navigate this complicated but extremely interesting and exciting area. It compares the results of research by different authors, informs about the most important intervention measures and does not forget about the Czech contribution.
