The fantasy series Brotherband continues
The Herons battle pirates with the fate of an entire empire in their hands. The seventh instalment of the adventure series. In Hallasholm, Stig is taking part in the annual competition to find Skandia's best warrior. But one night, he receives a surprise visitor with a plea for help – one the Herons should probably ignore. Across the sea, in the state of Byzantos, pirates are on the rampage and have kidnapped the empress's son. Under the cover of darkness, the Herons slip out of Hallasholm and set off to rescue the boy. Their journey leads them to an impregnable fortress, surrounded by a caldera formed by a volcanic crater.
