The Book of Lost Memories

On Kristallnacht, 11-year-old Lisavet Levy is hidden from the Nazis by her father in a mysterious place called the Spacetime Library, a library where memories of the past are kept. When her father doesn't return, Lisavet remains trapped there, going through the memories of the dead and trying to save them by storing them in a book. Years later, she meets an American, Ernest Duquesne, who is supposed to stop her. In 1965, Ernest's niece Amelia learns of the existence of Spacetime and the book her uncle has been searching for. He soon discovers that the past is not as clear and straightforward as it seems.
