The beauties of Slovak history

The popular Czech comic Opráski sčeskí historje expands beyond the borders. This time to Slovakia! Researchers from the Historical Institute have worked hard and bloodily researched interesting events from Slovak history for you. You can look forward to Jánošík, Štefánik and Gustáv Hnusák. The author, who hides under the mask of Žmikund Lucemburský, will not only entertain you, but also educate you. We can guarantee that. Opráski sčeskí historje are short comics (strips) based on a real historical basis, which is sometimes supplemented by an invented punchline. Correct grammar is unimportant in them, but specific and often incorrect humour has a large place. For these reasons, Opráski sčeski historje has many fans, but also many opponents. They first appeared on Facebook in November 2012 and since then their fan base has been growing. It is high time that characters like Cyril and Methodius, the merchant Sámo, Milan Chrastislav Štefánik or Gustáv Hnusák find their next fans in Slovakia.
