The Bastard's Fate

As the gods fade into oblivion and their influence wanes, a world begins to spiral into chaos. War threatens Lendaria, a conflict that could shake the very foundations of the entire continent. The Bastards, illegitimate children, the damned offspring of influential figures, may unexpectedly shuffle the deck.

Their ambitions are diverse and dangerous. It will soon become clear which of them is willing to sacrifice the most on the path to their personal revenge.

The conflict with the southerners, who have decided to invade and conquer central Lendaria, is far from its peak and continues to needlessly claim lives.

It is high time to see things from a different perspective. A special unit sent from Theory to investigate the causes of the conflict at its source and help end the war with the southerners runs into serious trouble in the south. What fate awaits those who manage to survive while surrounded by bloodthirsty southerners?

Therret, his family, and his friends are put to their greatest tests yet in the turmoil of these events. Esfeld is still reeling from the murder of the baron and his wife, and Katherine and Anna are hastily taking over the reins of the house. Dark days and difficult decisions still lie ahead for them.

Will they manage to survive in this cruel world and stand against the threats that will, without exaggeration, sink their teeth into them?

Whose blood will guarantee peace? And is hope truly the last thing to die? Will people die for the greater good and a better world? Or is it merely a matter of perspective? Can bloodshed ever be justified?
