The second part of the adventure stories by the Czech world traveler Otakar Batlicka (1895-1942), set in forests and deserts, rivers and oceans, remote corners and big cities all over the world. "In half a hundred countries I have done a hundred crafts in more than two hundred jobs. " Otakar Batlička told his friends. Short stories, that Batlicka himself experienced on his travels around the world, he observed, or heard stories about them, are captivated by the great artwork of the heroes, by the depicted environment of unknown lands, with tension and unexpected twists. The stories have appealed to several generations of readers - in the interwar and post-war period they were first read by readers in Mladé hlasatel, in the 1960s they were read by other readers and in the 1990s they were published in book form.
