When humanity first encountered the Swarm, we were not prepared. The alien fleet mercilessly fought its way to Earth, destroying dozens of cities and killing millions of people… then, in the middle of the attack, their ships suddenly departed and disappeared into the depths of space.
75 years have passed since the invasion. The Swarm is just ancient history, and the fleet that was supposed to stop it is fighting its only battle with politicians who want to cut its budget. When the alien fleet unexpectedly reappears and strikes deep within our territory, panic grips Earth. Our new ships are no match for the Swarm, and in the end, only the captain and crew of the oldest ship in the fleet – the ISS Constitution – stand between Earth and certain doom.
