Sustainability and sustainable management

The topic of the environment has evolved over the past fifty years, and it is undeniable that it is now becoming even more dynamic. Moreover, it affects practically every part of society, whether it be business entities, various non-profit organisations, public administration institutions, or households and individuals. Each of these players is affected, to a greater or lesser extent, by the impacts of environmental changes, and all have the opportunity to adjust their behaviour to protect it.
The book provides a range of information and insights that are universal in their introduction, but which gradually focus on the business sphere, which, through its activities, is a decisive player on the path to sustainable development. The intention of the authors was to create a publication that will find readers among all those who, for personal reasons or as part of their studies, are interested in the topic of sustainability, whether they are secondary school and university students, MBA attendees, or participants in various qualification and re-qualification courses. It is also intended for professionals who already have, or are planning to introduce, operate or improve, a sustainability management system.
