Suicide
The sixth case for Hana Vítková and David Winkler
The mutilated body of beekeeper Bedřich Bláha is found in a normally peaceful village. During the investigation, it is revealed that he shot himself with his own weapon after being diagnosed with cancer. The case therefore seems to be a clear suicide. However, the discovery of a letter sent to Bláha by a mentally disturbed person and the finding that someone was following him before his death lead investigators Hana Vítková and David Winkler to wonder whether he really ended his life voluntarily. Moreover, they discover that he was not the only seriously ill person who decided to end their life under suspicious circumstances. Are they dealing with an angel of death? Or is there something else entirely behind these suspicious suicides? A crime novel full of suspense and unexpected twists reveals that nothing is as it first seems.
