Successors: Notes from a World of Gerontocracy
The Successors: When a children's game in 2060 turns into a political assassination
The year is 2060 and the Czech Republic is in the grip of a generational conflict unlike any other in its history. The whole world has changed too quickly and too fundamentally for Czech society to adapt. But still, everyone tries to live and have fun. The young have their Mofi Tejgom, a crazy children's game that infiltrates their lives and secrets. When a promising politician is murdered, it seems the game has crossed all boundaries. But very few things are ever as they first appear.
The author of Syndicate and Sudetenland delivers a chillingly realistic vision of the Czech Republic's future. And believe him, this isn't sci-fi – it's a story that will become reality.
