Strand of hair

A seemingly happy marriage, an unexpected break-up, random love affairs, and a direct attack from the criminal underworld. All this happens in a short space of time in the life of a 45-year-old former member of a special unit of the Czech police, now a secondary school teacher working in a small town somewhere in the west of the Czech Republic.
A lock of hair, from which the book's title is derived, also plays a role in the story.
