Stories of Prague Courtyards

Prague's backyards and courtyards come to life for the second time in Petr Sojka's book.

The author uncovers stories from the ancient and recent past and follows in the footsteps of those whose lives have shaped them. History is intertwined with the present, the stories are connected in surprising contexts. We come across the fates of famous personalities, but also stories about people whom history has somehow forgotten.

In the book we also read about several yards and houses that no longer exist.
