Social work in education

The intention of the publication is to present social work in schools and to put it in the context of other important aspects.

It touches on topics such as the origins of humanitarian action, Christian humanism, and the care of the soul. It addresses the serious phenomenon of violence and specifies another cause of domestic violence linked to the persistent negative features of ADHD.

The book introduces the intricacies of various systems, bullying, cyberbullying, pros and cons of inclusion, social and situational contexts, social and special pedagogy or the context of migration. The book also includes the theme of learned helplessness, the theme of children with parental rejection syndrome and children as witnesses of violence in the family, including the subsequent emotional deprivation.

The publication reflects on what is missing today for both children and adults. From an early age, the essential principles influence upbringing, personal development, academic performance and behaviour at school, social relationships, professional and intimate relationships.

It asks what needs to be corrected today in individual or other essentially social matters. Social Work in Schools concludes the whole book with its history and details.

It is the most dynamic applied social activity, but it is absent in our country, although it has proved very successful abroad. For pupils, its timeliness with legitimate overlap outside of school is needed. The real interest in this profession is illustrated in the book by the numerical results of a nationwide survey.
