Sister of the Storm
The Storm Sister audiobook by Lucinda Riley, translated by Jana Jašová. Read by Karolína Půčková, Dana Černá and Anna Fixová.
The Seven Sisters #2
Six young women from different corners of the world gather at the luxurious Atlantis estate on a private peninsula of Lake Geneva, brought home by a sad event: the death of their adoptive father. Each of the sisters receives a letter as an inheritance with information that could lead her to find her biological family.
The second sister, Ally, is initially not interested in searching for her origins because she has fallen deeply in love for the first time. However, their mutual love is cut short by a tragic accident, and Ally suddenly has nothing to hold on to in life. So, more out of desperation than curiosity, she sets off for Norway, where the clues from her father's letter lead her…
Here she begins to piece together the mosaic of her distant ancestors' fate. She uncovers the life story of Anna Halvorsen, a young girl from the Norwegian countryside. Anna transforms from a naive girl who suddenly finds herself in the capital city from the mountains and in the spotlight as a singer, into a young woman whose destiny and disappointments in love have forced her to take life into her own hands.
Ally follows in Anna's footsteps to the north of Norway, where she unexpectedly finds not only answers to her questions but also a new meaning to her life.
