Silver-plated

A fantasy novel set in a world of shady merchants, thieves and murderers.

Lukan Gardova is a drunk and a gambler, expelled from the Academy for a duel that brought dishonour to his ancient family. Now he drifts from one thing to the next, wondering how to get back the life he so wastefully threw away. But then his father is murdered under strange circumstances, and Lukan has a new purpose. Although he can't undo what he's done, he intends to uncover the mystery behind his father's death.

His search for answers leads him to Safrona, the fabled city of rich merchants where practically anything can be bought for money. Lukan is only looking for the truth, but instead he uncovers danger and secrets at every turn. In Safrona, everything has its price—and the price of truth could be death.
