Silence after the rain

You can't command the heart or the weather

This emotional family saga begins in 1962, when Chantal is getting ready for her friend Jacinta's fifteenth birthday party in Barcelona. However, the rain ruins her plans. Furious that she cannot meet her childhood love, Jacinta's brother Ignacio, she dials a random phone number and meets Tony, who charms her from afar with his violin playing. The call kicks off a story full of fateful encounters and disappointments, taking place in the second half of the twentieth century in Barcelona, a villa on the Spanish coast, and Paris. Before Chantal reaches her fiftieth birthday, she must overcome many obstacles that will change her perspective on friendship, motherhood, love, and her own family. Only then will she discover who her soulmate truly is.
