Sherlock Holmes: The Pearl of India
In the sixth mini-series, we bring you a story featuring the world's most beloved fictional character, Sherlock Holmes, and even though this short story wasn't written by A. C. Doyle, it's definitely worth a read.
In the heart of London, Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson find themselves in the midst of a mystery surrounding a giant pearl from India that brings death to anyone who tries to possess it. When the antique dealer Samuel Kaplan dies under mysterious circumstances, the investigation leads them through European cities to the remote Tibetan mountains, where the pearl was created in a temple ritual, growing to its unusual size thanks to a thousand-year concentration of energy. In the process, they uncover a tragic story of unrequited love, which was at the root of all the murders and vengeance that the pearl amplified. Holmes must connect history, human emotions, and sophisticated criminal plans to stop the chain of deaths and break the curse.
