She-Dragon

Dragons. A malevolent breed, breathing fire and destruction wherever they fly. When they unite under the command of their Mother, the kingdom stands no chance. There is only one force capable of effectively resisting them. But... is it a good idea to invite a powerful order of necromancers into the land? Their leader is said to be worse than all the dragons combined. Moreover, she sets conditions. And while Prince Kelem is no sweet, defenceless maiden, he will soon discover what it's like to be thrown to a real she-dragon... Jan Hlávka (1979) is known mainly as a short story author, for which he has twice won the Ikaros award, and for three successful novels in the Agent JFK series. The She-Dragon is his first major contribution to the fantasy genre without borrowing a foreign world or heroes. Jana Vybíralová (1981) is, as yet, an unknown name in the literary world, but she has worked closely with Jan Hlávka on several writing projects. Their common interests are Star Trek, reading good books, and writing. Both authors can be found at www.janhlavka.cz.
