Shards of Earth

The war is over. Its heroes are forgotten. Until one chance discovery.

To save their species, after the destruction of Earth, humanity created a fighting elite—augmented human beings with implanted enhancements. Idris is one of them. He hasn’t aged or slept since they remade him in the war.

But one day, the alien aggressors, the Architects, vanished—and Idris and his kind became redundant. Once a hero of humanity, he has since been scraping by on an independent salvage ship to avoid unwanted attention.

When Idris and his crew discover a strange, abandoned Architect artefact in unspace, they acquire something of incalculable value that many would kill for. Hunted by gangsters, cults and governments, they race across the galaxy in search of answers.
