Shadowhunter

The city of Aravell is threatened not only by the deadly Black Mist, but also by the Devourers, who feed on the magic of defenceless children. Viri Solace has dedicated her life to hunting them down, and above all, to taking revenge on the one who destroyed her family – the feared Pastor of the Devourers. When his most powerful follower, Reeve Ashton, is captured, he offers the young huntress an unexpected deal. Viri agrees, even though it means disobeying orders and joining forces with the people she hates. In doing so, she sets in motion a deadly game in which her new companions... and her own heart, could betray her.
