A modern guide to sexuality for teenagers who want to know more
Do you know what sex education actually covers? I grew up in the nineties, and my main source of information was the legendary Bravo magazine. Back then, simple questions and clear answers helped me the most. But today's kids are growing up in a world full of misinformation and confusing content. That's why I created a clear and safe book that answers the questions that interested me most as a teenager. It's aimed at adolescents and is based on a question-and-answer format, just like in Bravo magazine—only modern, sensitive, and professional.
Kamila Žižková
Kamila Žižková is a doctor in the field of gynaecology and obstetrics at Chomutov Hospital and in sexology at Masaryk Hospital in Ústí nad Labem. She studied at the Faculty of Medicine in Plzeň, graduating in 2019. She was born in Chomutov, where she returned after her studies and now lives with her family. A turning point in her career came in 2021 when she created the Instagram profile moje_gynpor, through which she aims to educate the general public in an entertaining way on topics not only related to gynaecology and obstetrics but also sexuality and the everyday life of women and motherhood. She accompanies her posts with her own illustrations. In 2022, she won the title of Mummy Blogger in the Mummy of the Year competition, organised by Maminka magazine. Together with her colleague, midwife Klára Sedmerová, she is also the author of the podcast Pindy z gyndy. Her work is her hobby, and although she sometimes devotes time to it 'after hours', she prefers to spend her free time with her family. It's no secret that she is a loyal fan of Friends and Harry Potter and is still waiting for her letter from Hogwarts.
