Seven years between us

Six months ago, Clementine West lived through the worst day of her life when she lost her beloved aunt. So she came up with a plan to protect her heart from danger: she would focus on her work and avoid taking risks. She would build her career in publishing, where she might soon replace her boss, and only engage in casual relationships. It worked perfectly.
