Revenge of the White Unicorn

Častolov of Frýdlant, who boasts the Ron family coat of arms, loses his wife Anežka under unexplained circumstances and is found dead under a rock where his castle towers over the landscape like an eagle's nest. The royal executioner concludes her death as an unfortunate accident, only to be killed soon afterwards. Oldřich from Chlum is convinced that the most thankless task is to help his relatives when he promises his wife Ludmila to investigate the whole matter. As they begin their search, more people start dying in mysterious ways and everything revolves around a gorge called Hell. Worst of all, none of the possible suspects could have committed the murders, and so the Church eventually steps in, because the devil's trail is undeniable.
