Another extraordinary case of an ordinary Czech policeman
Detective Miko Syrový takes a break from the hustle and bustle of the big city to his home village, where he plans to spend a few quiet days with his young daughter. However, immediately upon arrival, he is confronted with a suspicious death, which the local police are all too quick to dismiss as an ordinary accident.
Miko begins to ask uncomfortable questions, the façade of the village idyll crumbles, and testimonies come to light that bring more and more doubts and question marks to the case. When the backdrop finally collapses completely, Miko realizes only too late that this time his own life is at stake...
