The book is intended for anyone interested in reading, reading and developmental dyslexia, which is the most common deviation from normal reading development. The text is divided into three parts: In the first, the reader is introduced to the concept of reading, the typology of dyslexia and various theoretical approaches to its study. The author also discusses the interaction of working memory and dyslexia, the influence of environment and heredity on reading development, and the long-term effects of dyslexia on the life of the individual. The second part is devoted to the relationship between reading and eye movements - it deals with attention during reading, drawing reading information or reading patterns.
