Ramon
The story is set in Kozloděje, a fictional village, a sort of modern-day Czech Clochemerle, where a sixteen-year-old tormented writer, Martin Luter, and an Indian named Ramon—a doctor, physicist, dancer, and shaman all in one—run into each other at a well with miraculous water. This chance encounter blossoms into a friendship that lasts the whole summer, the summer when so many things happened in Kozloděje that it left everyone dumbfounded. The book features a whole range of characters, big and small, and besides the citizens of Kozloděje, you can also meet Little Red Riding Hood, gangsters of all kinds, and one genuine count on a horse.
