Queens in Love

Adléta Míšeňská rescues Prince Přemysl, an exile from Bohemia, out of love. But when this prince, after many adventurous twists and turns, becomes like Přemysl Otakar I. King of Bohemia, the saddest fate awaits her. Her husband prefers the Hungarian princess Constance and casts off the selfless Adleta. The relationship between Eliška Přemyslovna and her husband, the knightly King John of Luxembourg, is very stormy, and Eliška has to face the intrigues of her stepmother, the Queen Dowager Eliška Rejčka. Fortunately, he has a devoted and brave friend, Vilém Zajíc of Valdek, by his side.
