Promised to the darkness

When eighteen-year-old Lark returns home after being expelled from the academy, she finds only ruin. The salt mine that supported her family is empty, and her brothers are left with nothing but debt. In an attempt to save her home, she decides to form a pact with Therion, the god of the sea and salt. But instead of salvation, she summons darkness. Her only hope of rescue now lies with the children of their creditor – Alastair, who broke her heart, and his alluring sister, Camille. However, as Lark falls under the siblings' spell, the awakened power seeks to destroy not only Therion, but her as well.
