Premature ejaculation

Premature ejaculation is the second most common sexual disorder after erectile dysfunction. It affects especially younger men and can make the sex life of both the patient and his partner very unpleasant. Interestingly, there is not much literature on such a common dysfunction. The contribution of this publication is that it comprehensively summarizes new knowledge about the causes, diagnosis and treatment of this disorder. It is gratifying that recently with the development of new psychopharmaceuticals, especially antidepressants, the success rate of therapy has improved significantly. Until a few years ago, the results of treatment, unlike erectile dysfunction therapy, were rather trivial. It can now be said that most patients rate the treatment as successful.
