Prague Uprising

It is April 25, 1945. Only Bára knows that the end of the Second World War is two weeks away. The German army, retreating before the Allies, intends to defend itself to its last breath in Bohemia and Moravia. When an uprising breaks out in Prague, Bára feels obliged to join it as a nurse with a troop of scouts she has befriended. She doesn't even realize that in war not only her life can be at stake…

In her books, historian Veronika Válková transports readers to real, real history, where she and Bára experience exciting moments, but they also learn a lot.
