Poldark – The Stranger from the Sea

In 1810, war is raging in Europe and Demelza Poldark is impatiently awaiting the return of her husband, Ross, who is fighting with Wellington's army in Portugal. Their children are now grown and are beginning to find their place in life. The key to their entry into a new world of love and danger is a young man named Stephen Carrington, whom Jeremy saves from certain death during a sea voyage, and who will go on to profoundly influence the lives of everyone in the Poldark household.
