Historical detective story by Pavel Hrdlicka The Hanging Man's Trail
The popular author concludes his loose series of historical stories with a detective plot with a novel whose main character is once again Václav of the Black Horse. This time they are solving a very complicated case, as dead bodies suddenly start appearing at the entrances of the Old Prague houses, which were taken down from the Gallows Hill. There is a murder at St. Henry's Church, and Vohnout, a bier, is a suspect. But most importantly: Dare the Undertaker accuse the all-powerful Chamberlain Sigmund Huler, the King's favourite, who calls himself Sigmund of Orlik?
