Pavel Landovský: Hourly Hotelier

The Hourly Hotelier is the story of a couple of very peculiar men who give their apartment to a couple of not so lucky lovers for a fee. On the relationships of this remarkable quartet of characters, the author plays out a comedy about the follies of human action, about trying to profit from everything and everyone, but also about trying to retain a human dimension despite an environment where values are turning into junk. The radio version of the comedy The Hourly Hotelier was directed by Josef Melč in the early 1990s with Rudolf Hrušínský and Radovan Lukavský in the lead roles.
