Pathophysiology for non-medical majors

The fourth, revised edition of the textbook is intended for students of bachelor's and non-medical master's courses, respectively. Engineering, as a core text for pathophysiology courses in these curricula. In the interpretation, the emphasis is on the basic processes - and their disorders - related to the supply and use of oxygen and nutrients in the body, i.e. on the pathophysiology of blood circulation, respiration, of blood, metabolism, digestive system, as well as regulatory mechanisms, i.e. pathophysiology of the nervous and endocrine system. The chapters on the internal environment and excretion are also essential.
