Revived stone

Summer is at its peak, and Quebec Sureté Chief Inspector Armand Gamache and his wife Reine-Marie are marking their anniversary at Manoir Bellechasse, a secluded luxury hotel near Three Pines. But they are not alone. The large, wealthy and respected Finney family had also gathered here - for their celebration. The lovely Manoir Bellechasse is surrounded by pure nature, but there is something unnatural about it. The heat intensifies, stifling humidity approaches, unexpected guests arrive for a family reunion... and a summer storm leaves a dead body in its wake. It's up to the experienced Gamach to uncover an impossible murder, long-buried secrets and grudges carefully hidden behind polite smiles. And he also outdid himself. “Jedna z nejlepších tradičních detektivních sérií, které v současnosti vycházejí.“ - Starred Booklist Případy vrchního inspektora Gamache, nejoblíbenějšího detektiva dle The Washington Post.
