Annabelle Archer will have the unique opportunity to become one of the first female students at Oxford University. The scholarship will be provided by a women's group that is trying to promote women's suffrage. But there is one condition - Annabelle must find an influential man who will stand up for the interests of the association. Her target becomes the cold and calculating Duke of Montgomery, who runs British politics at the Queen's behest.
When Annabelle finds her way to his estate, she quickly realizes that her biggest challenge will be resisting him.
